Oficina OCM:Carlo Fabiano
Carlo Fabiano, founder, first violinist, and artistic director of the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova (OCM), also serves as the artistic director of the orchestra’s operating body, OCM office. Under his leadership, the ensemble has performed in major theaters and festivals across Europe, the Americas, North Africa, and Asia. His artistic growth has been profoundly shaped by long‑term collaborations with numerous internationally renowned artists, among which his deep friendship and artistic partnership with conductor Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli and pianist Alessandro Longo have been particularly decisive.

His teaching career began at the Conservatorio statale di musica di Mantova "Lucio Campiani", where he succeeded his mentor Franco Claudio Ferrari in the violin chair. From 2010, he served for twelve years as the head of the chamber music department in the advanced courses of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, mentoring many young musicians and regularly holding masterclasses worldwide.
His contributions have been widely recognized: in 1997 he received the "Franco Abbiati" Prize, the highest Italian music critics’ award; in 2017 he was awarded the Golden Virgil Medal by the City of Mantua; and in 2019 he was named one of the ten most influential figures in classical music promotion by the magazine Classic Voice. In his formative years, he studied under violinist Franco Claudio Ferrari before furthering his training in Rome with master Arrigo Pelliccia, thus laying a profound foundation for his performance and artistic practice.
